Thank you for Camala

Her heels echoed in the stone corridor, the clicking impossible to quiet. She completed her mission, the prize an orange beacon in her hand. Her mind raced as she eyed the tunnel arches, only through the maze would she find the one to freedom.

She knew the mission. The only possible obstacle that would have jeopardized the mission was away from the facility. Out of the way, the item was secured and ready to be delivered.

She was almost free, until the air snapped violently around her, gripping her with sudden darkness.

"Well, what have we here?" a dangerously smooth voice breathed. Her eyes immediately met those unnatural orange slits. She swallowed, a light bit of sweat forming at her cheek. The eyes she saw before, no, it was the smirk that crossed those lips. There were few reasons this man would smile, and few lived to witness why.

"I thought I'd pay you a visit," She said, keeping her voice from shaking as she brought an arm up to caress his sleeve. Her hand clasped desperately at the vial behind her back, the other succumbing to the ache brought on by the painful grip on her shoulder.

"How sweet of you." The smile was not fading. "How lucky of me my plans got delayed and to meet you down here, all alone for me to snatch." The hand twisted at the back of her dress, the silky fabric writhing like her eyes. "Perhaps you and I could have a little talk. I hope no one was expecting you, because I intend to keep you for a couple hours."

That was it. He had her. He would know everything by the time dawn rose.

This picture is a thank you to ~Camala. During the RE art theft by a Shepard180 (now banned) a couple months ago, she was able to track down the original artist and alert them of the art theft.

I insisted on making her a picture. However, I am terrible at making characters OOC so I put a twist on it. Hopefully this has enough romantic-ness to make you happy. The story was an added bonus.
